The bonds of female friendship are embedded into the fibers of Merlette. As a female-founded brand, we are constantly looking for the chance to celebrate the close connections between women, whether they are personal or professional. For Pre Fall 23, we are telling the story of old friends and new friends celebrating and creating together.
Famed supermodel Guinevere van Seenus had just returned home from Couture season in Paris, and friend-of-Merlette photographer Tierney Gearon was in NYC. We came in from Brooklyn to shoot at Guinevere’s magical home in Redding, Connecticut.
Roxane Danset, who acted as creative director and stylist on the shoot, added another layer of connectivity, having worked with Guinevere over the years.
While the house was under construction, we all lost ourselves in the beautiful property filled with gardens, a pool, rock formations and more.
The Pre Fall 23 collection was at home in nature, with the colors of the landscape complementing the rich blues, deep terracottas and earthy khaki.
