Introducing Collection 22

Merlette’s 22nd collection marks a new chapter in city living, celebrating the vibrant metropolis where the brand was born. Captured in Tribeca by photographer Su Mustecaplioglu and stylist Caitlin Burke, alongside model and muse Heather Kemesky, the campaign reflects the ease and elegance of dressing for life in the city — and the opening of our new Tribeca atelier, a space that embodies the brand’s evolving spirit of creativity and craft.
Drawing on Robert Rauschenberg’s bold abstractions and his fearless use of primary color, the collection reinterprets vivid reds, blues, and yellows through painterly stripes, sculptural shapes, and fluid silhouettes. His experimental spirit lives on in pieces that feel expressive yet effortless — an artist’s palette reimagined as a modern wardrobe.

The mood of Une Été Meurtrier (1983) brings a quiet counterpoint. Inspired by Isabelle Adjani’s enigmatic character, the collection channels her duality — her strength and vulnerability, power and poise — through fluid tailoring, soft drape, and an ease that moves with the wearer. Her spirit infuses the collection with subtle mystery and cinematic energy.

Collection 22, unveiled alongside our Tribeca atelier, captures the rhythm of New York — modern, confident, and alive with possibility. It’s a study in how we move through the world: with freedom, grace, and intention.

With a palette grounded in red, blue, and yellow, Pre-Spring 2026 captures the creative pulse of New York — modern, expressive, and rooted in craftsmanship.
