How did you decide which Merlette pieces would be perfect for holiday occasions?
I love how versatile Merlette pieces are, so I went for what could be dressed up for the holidays, but would also fit into my every day wardrobe.
What’s your approach to dressing for festive gatherings versus casual holiday moments?
For festive gatherings I opt for heels and more elevated accessories to make me feel more dressed-up, and when I’m at home with my family I’m prioritizing comfort.
Are there any Scottish holiday customs you particularly love?
I love Hogmanay in Scotland which is what we call New Years Eve. We spend it with friends in the Scottish highlands, eating, drinking and just generally having a lovely time. There’s fireworks when it’s midnight and everyone is in such great spirits wishing each other the best for the year ahead.
What are some of your favorite holiday activities?
We recently moved from a flat to a house so we’re really loving having friends and family around this year. I can’t wait to make this a tradition now that we have more space for hosting.
How do you like to add personal touches to your holiday outfits?
Always with accessories, they really make an outfit for me. I adore Merlette’s bags and think they’re perfect for adding that little extra something to your look.
Do you have any travel plans this holiday season, and how do you incorporate Merlette pieces into your packing?
I’m going to be in London and also the highlands with family, so my Merlette pieces will definitely be making an appearance. I love how easily they can be mixed and worn together. I’ll be throwing on the AMIRA Sweater & EGAN Pant when I’m with my kids then switching to the MARÉE Skirt when I’m heading out to meet friends.
